Code of Conduct

CND Poland is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, or technology choices.

Expected Behaviour

  • Be respectful and considerate in your speech and actions
  • Attempt collaboration before conflict
  • Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behaviour and speech
  • Be mindful of your surroundings and fellow participants

Unacceptable Behaviour

  • Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form
  • Verbal abuse, offensive comments, or inappropriate jokes
  • Sustained disruption of talks or other events
  • Unwelcome physical contact or attention
  • Publishing others' private information without consent

Speakers & Exhibitors

Speakers must not use sexualized language or imagery in talks, slides, or demos. Sponsors and exhibitors are likewise responsible for keeping booth staff, materials, and activities free of sexualized or otherwise inappropriate content. Booth space may not be used for political campaigning.

Scope

We expect all participants — attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, and organizers — to abide by this Code of Conduct in all conference venues, online and in person, as well as in all one-on-one communications relating to the conference.

Reporting

If you experience or witness unacceptable behaviour, please report it to any member of the organizing team or email us at organizers@cloudnativedayspoland.org. All reports will be handled discreetly and confidentially, and we will not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.

Support

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, contact a member of the organizing team immediately. We will be glad to help you contact venue security or local law enforcement, provide an escort, or otherwise help you feel safe for the duration of the event.

Enforcement

Participants asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately. Organizers may take any action deemed necessary, including warning the offender or expulsion from the conference.

Addressing Grievances

If you believe you have been wrongly or unfairly accused of violating this Code of Conduct, please notify the organizing team with a concise description of your grievance. Your concern will be handled in accordance with our existing governing policies.

This Code of Conduct is based on the Berlin Code of Conduct.
